I think non-seriously that racism started as a really bad sarcastic comment that people accidentally took seriously and it somehow became accepted as a real thing to be concerned about. "Woah, you are so inferior because of some inconsequential trait that you were born with and have zero control over!" Like how silly is it to tease or judge someone on suck a superficial trait? How did we let this catch on? If you want to offend me call me dumb or lazy and back it up with evidence. Then I will be offended, but then I will also have better insight into how I can be better. It is useless to criticize something that cannot be changed. Those that let their perceptions get caught up on such spurious appearances are the real losers. Being called a racist is 100x the insult than pointing out someone's skin color.
